Today I posted photos and descriptions of 2 more weather forecasting slide rules:
- A Pilot's Weather Computer CK-1 produced by the Weems Division of Jeppesen & Co in 1959. It is for use by pilots to predict the impact of thunderstorms and icing on flight conditions.
- The WeatherCycler, developed by Ira W Geer for use by The Weather School in Brockport, NY in 1984. It uses observation of a surface weather map to make weather forecasts.
