Safonovsky Gidrometpribor
Safonovsky Gidrometpribor is a Russian manufacturer of meteorological instrumentation. I believe they started in 1960 as the Safonovsky plant of the Gidromet Scientific Production Association, the state-owned producer of hydrological and meteorological instruments in the USSR. Their logo is the letters SG in the Russian alphabet. Gidromet is Russian for hydrometeorology and pribor means instrument. The company is located in Safonovsky in Smolensk Oblast, Russia. In 2003 the company became a 'Joint Stock Company' (JSC, or OAO in Russian). They manufacture barometers and anemometers among other instrumentation. Their pressure sensors are on the Soyuz spacecraft and International Space Station.
