This Bendix Friez Hygrodial hygrometer probably dates from the 1950s or 1960s.  It has a hair hygrometer sensor and a spirit bulb thermometer.  The thermometer is Celsius, unusual for the US in this period.The case is plastic, don't mistake it for brass.
