This is an anemometer I found in Canada.  I was told by the seller that it was custom made and used by the Canadian government.  It has no maker's identification.  It requires no power; there is a generator in the sensor that drives the gauge.  The three cups are conical and 5 inches in diameter.  The gauge is 8 inches in diameter.  Very solidly built.
