This is a US Weather Bureau pattern snow measuring stick. The manufacturer and date it was made are unknown. The reverse side is labelled "US Weather Bureau" with the quotation marks, so it may not have been actually used by the Weather Bureau. 36 inches long with brass tips. The US Weather Bureau became the National Weather Service in 1970, so it may be older than that.
