I'm a retired mechanical engineer with an interest in meteorology. I have a masters degree in meteorology and worked as a meteorologist for 4 years early in my career before that work dried up and I transitioned to engineering. Being retired, I have time for websites and weather instruments. I'm a member of the American Meteorological Society (AMS), the International Meteorological Artifact Preservation Program (IMAPP), and the Society for the History of Technology (SHOT).
