This Tycos 5532 Mason's hygrometer manufactured by Taylor Instrunent Company is a bit unusual.  The 5532 is shown in the 1919 and 1929 Tycos catalogs, but the temperature range in the catalog illustrations is 20 F to 120 F.  The thermometers here range from 30 F to 130 F.  These thermometers were actually used on the Model 5558 Hygro-Autometer shown in the 1919 catalog.  Perhaps Taylor was using up the available stock of 5558 thermometers on 5532s before abandoning the Tycos logo in 1932.  It would also explain why the wet bulb thermometer is not directly above the water vessel.
