Paul Wegener

Karl Wegener founded the firm Wegener & Machin 1887.  In 1921, Paul Wegener left the firm and founded his own company, Paul Wegener KG, in Ballenstedt, Germany.  In 1959 the firm went under state control in East Germany. In 1990 the private firm Paul Wegener GmbH was founded by his heirs.  The compant continues to be managed by Wegener descendents.
