Weather Measure Model 6330 4-Inch Rain Gauge
This is a Weather Measure Model 6330 4-inch rain gauge. It is made of butyrate plastic. The assembled tube is about 14 inches tall and slides onto a plastic mount which is attached to a post for installation. The inner measuring tube results in a rainfall magnification factor of 10. It has a capacity of 1 inch rainfall. If the rainfall exceeds 1 inch, it overflows into the outer tube and is measured separately, with a total capacity of 11 inches. The inner tube has etched graduations, so a dip stick is not required. The manual that came with it is dated 1984. It may be downloaded below (8 pages):
