This Type B microbarograph was made sometime between 1957 and 1971 by the Meteorological Service of Canada (MSC) in their own workshops for their own use.  The MSC is the predecessor agency of Environment and Climate Change Canada.  It uses a 3-day chart (78 hour, precisely) that was generally used by the MSC. It has a button on the side of the instrument so that the user can make a tic on the chart every 3 hours to measure the barometric trend.  The instrument still needs adjusting but the clock and pressure mechanism seem to still work well.
