This barometer is beautiful but not working, at least for the present.  It's huge, it has a 7 inch dial face and weighs 8.6 pounds.  The inner mechanism with two aneroid cells is impressive.  I found it relatively inexpensively but the indicator needle doesn't respond and it is very sensitive to shock.  I haven't given up on it, it's just on my list of instruments to work on.
