This very weathered mercury barometer was made by Henry J Green in Brooklyn, New York.  The Brooklyn label means it's newer than 1890.  The 1892 and 1915 Green catalogs, available on this website, indicate this is an "Exposed Thermometer, former U S Weather Bureau Pattern".  The scale range is from -15F to 120F.  It's 11.25 inches long.
