This SC5-C anemometer was made by Julien P Friez & Sons.  Also known as the "SA Type" to the USWB, it was generally used at airports.  I don't know the date of manufacture, I suspect the 1940s or 1950s.  It contains electrical contacts and operates at 6 volts DC, 0.5 amps.  It measures about 8 inches tall and has 2.75 inch semi-conical cups.
