Maxant
Leon Maxant was born in 1856 and began making watch movements in 1879. I believe they began making barometers following a company acquisition in 1887. Their logo was an anchor with the letters 'L M'. They were purchased by JRI (Jules Richard Instruments) in 1999. If any of our French visitors can provide more information on their history, please email me.
