The Brooklyn Thermometer Company was founded in 1903 in Brooklyn, New York as a manufacturer of laboratory thermometers. In 1917 it was under the direction of A. Teichert, and the Teichert family continues to manage the firm. Although primarily a laboratory thermometer manufacturer, they have supplied outdoor thermometers and hygrometers.
