Today I scanned and posted the 2nd edition US Weather Bureau booklet "Barometers and Measurement of Atmospheric Pressure" by Charles F Marvin, published in 1901.  It joins the later editions of this booklet in the general barometer download section of the website.  It's 89 pages long.
