Today I updated the barometric calculation web pages in two areas:

Go to Calculation of Local Pressure from Mercury Column Height webpage.
- Calculation of Sea Level Pressure from Local Pressure - I added a downloadable, 3-page PDF document which presents the equations for this calculation, along with a numerical example. I also made a minor change in the downloadable Microsoft Excel spreadsheet for doing the calculation. The calculation is applicable to aneroid or mercury barometers.
- Calculation of Local Pressure from Mercury Column Height - I added a downloadable, 2-page PDF document which presents the equations for this calculation, along with a numerical example. I also made minor changes in the downloadable Microsoft Excel spreadsheet for doing the calculation. This calculation is applicable to mercury barometers only.
