Today I photographed and posted a Russian Soviet ZMD model M-19 hair hygrometer in my collection. From 1981, it works very well. Unusual for it's open construction, it may be found in the hair hygrometer section in the instrument collection.

Today I scanned and posted an old Hohmann & Maurer thermometer catalog. I believe it's from the late 1890s or early 1900s. It's mostly industrial thermometers but there are a few of meteorological interest. It's posted to the Taylor Catalog Page.

Today I posted pictures and a description of a Friez Model 340 3-cup anemometer. Known to the US Weather Bureau as "Type-S", it's shown in the 1931 Friez catalog on this website, but I suspect this example is newer. Go to Friez 340 catalog page.

Today I posted an IMD (Indian Meteorological Department) Kew pattern marine barometer recently added to my instrument collection. It has the later version of the Gold slide for calculating the barometric correction factors right on the barometer. I'm not sure how old it is, but it's in pristine condition so it is likely a newer model.

Today I added a webpage for the US instrument supplier E H Sargent, now Sargent Welch. I posted 3 catalog excerpts from E H Sargent (for 1914, 1937, and 1953) and one from Sargent-Welch (for 1971). The excerpts show the meteorological instruments they carried.
