Today I posted an aneroid barometer made by English barometer maker James Pitkin, now in my instrument collection. It was sold in the US by the firm James & Henry J Green, whose partnership lasted from 1879 to 1885. It's in good working condition,

Today I posted the 1891 US War Department book "Index of Meteorological Data in the United States". It is a summary report prepared by the Signal Service when its meteorological responsibilities were handed over to the then new US Weather Bureau. It's with the reference downloads and is 301 pages long.

Today I added a webpage for my Weksler Model 322 maximum and minimum thermometers on a Townsend support. I believe it dates from the 1940s or 1950s, it's shown in the 1958 Weksler catalog on this website. It was formerly used at a US Weather Bureau climatological station in Minnesota.
