Today I scanned and posted the 24 page booklet "Measurement of Pressure with the Mercury Barometer" published by the UK National Physical Laboratory in 1962.  It may be found in the Miscellaneous Downloads section of the website, or by the link below.

Today I started posting an extensive weather instrument catalog from the early 1960s from Lambrecht of Germany. I am posting the catalog sheets in segments based on the type of instrument described. I'll have it all scanned and posted in about a week.

A also added an Ambient Weather storm glass to the instrument collection on the website. I chose to fill it with mineral oil rather than water, because mineral oil has a much lower vapor pressure so it doesn't evaporate much. For $13 plus shipping it was a novel addition to the collection.

Today I scanned and posted a 32 page catalog from the US instrument manufacturer and distributor Swift & Anderson.  I believe it is from the late 1950s as it is catalog #600 and Swift & Anderson changed their name to Swift Instrument Company in 1959.

Today I added a 6 page catalog excerpt for the Kollsman altimeter setting barometer that was already on the website in the instrument collection.

I also added a catalog web page for the US weather instrument supplier Verichron.  They supplied home and decorative weather instruments during the 1960s-1980s.
