Today I posted the results of the barograph accuracy evaluation I performed using January 2017 recorded data.  The accuracy was calculated for five barographs:

1. A Belfort 800A microbarograph
2. A Friez 620 barograph
3. A Friez ML-3A microbarograph using 4.5 day charts
4. A Friez ML-3A microbarograph using a 31 day chart that doesn't quite fit the instrument
5. A Weathertronics 7021 barograph

​I will repeat this evaluation in April 2017 with March data, with some improvements and perhaps 3 more barographs.

Today I scanned and posted the 1861 British manual "Instructions for Taking Meteorological Observations with Tables" by Sir Henry James of the Royal Engineers.  It's 112 pages and may be found at Miscellaneous Downloads/Observers Manuals.

I also scanned and posted an additional Dietzgen catalog excerpt and an additional W M Welch catalog excerpt.

Today I added several catalog excerpts from Keuffel & Esser catalogs ranging from 1900 to 1944.  They show the barometers and Biram anemometers which they marketed.

In the last two days I added a US Navy marine aneroid barometer from 1942 made by the Fee & Stemwedel Company of Chicago, Illinois.  Unfortunately it is not working and beyond repair.

I also added a catalog page for the former Ohio Thermometer Company of Springfield, Ohio,  I am short on information on them, but have sent away for some and will add it soon.

I also added a few catalog pages for KAHLSICO.  I inserted them in the same file of catalog pages that had already been posted.

Will try to add more catalogs tomorrow.

Today I posted 3 more instruments to the instrument collection on the website.  They are:

1. A Meteorological Service of Canada Type B microbarograph.  See it.
2. A Lufft precision marine barometer.  See it.
3. A R Fuess Assmann psychrometer.  See it.
